Currently, we are operating in the Stockport area and are extending into Trafford. We are taking referrals from Hatter’s Food Bank, and will shortly be taking referrals from other food banks and charities. If you live in these areas, please fill in this form to request our help.

We will provide you with a birthday celebration pack, containing gifts, a cake, and the other essentials that you need to celebrate your child’s special day, such as cards, wrap, candles, decorations and the all-important badge!
Birthdays are hugely important when you’re a kid, but if you’re a financially stressed parent, it’s difficult to celebrate in the way we want to. We’re here to help with that special day, and to show families in need that they are supported and valued by friends in their community.

These are the people behind The Birthday Bank. It was Laura’s brainchild and it took very little convincing to get the others on board.

The driving force behind The Birthday Bank. Laura has taken an active role in providing for local and internation charities for years, so running a local charity herself was the next step.
Duncan
Doer & Digital
Good with tech, picking up heavy things and delivering them. Duncan is married to Laura, and is just as keen as she is at charity work and helping others.
Eve
Chief Strategist
A veritable sage of the charity world. Eve has been working with and for charitable organisations for over twenty years. Eve helps us to put Laura’s vision into practice.

A legend at buying great items for great prices. Sean is the master at procurement and ensures we can use our money as wisely as possible.
Donations – How You Can Help
We privately fund our work as much as we can, but the more help we get, the more families we can help. Find out the two main ways you can help The Birthday Bank
Money donation
Money is always gratefully received as we can use it to purchase all the items we know our service users really need. Along with those all-important gifts, we take care of the smaller items that make up a special day… balloons, a birthday badge, a birthday card, a cake. All the items we take for granted. The best way to donate money is via our GoFundMe.
gifts / toys
We really welcome donations of brand new and boxed toys (or equivalents such as books, teddies, clothes/trainers etc) as these make the basis of The Birthday Bank present boxes. We also welcome gifts & toys in a ‘like new’ condition – if you’d be happy to gift it to your child on their birthday, then we’re happy to gift it on too. Please contact us to make a gift & toy donation.
